Owner-run Arnhem web and SEO studio with monthly cancellable SEO plans
About Flowingweb
Flowingweb is a one-person web studio in Arnhem run by its founder Florian Metz, who started the business in 2001. Its registered address is Max Euwestraat in the south of the city. Before working on Flowingweb full time, Metz spent eleven years, from 2001 to 2012, as webmaster at Fontys OSO in Tilburg. He is a WordPress specialist and technical all-rounder and has delivered more than 100 projects, some for clients who have stayed for around 20 years.
Most work is built on WordPress and WooCommerce. For smaller budgets he adapts templates to a client's branding, and for specific needs he writes custom code. Alongside websites and webshops he offers WordPress maintenance, hosting, link building and Google Ads management, so a client can have its site, search optimisation and paid search handled by the same person.
His SEO work runs in four steps. He first records current positions, keywords and competitors. He then draws up a plan that focuses on the pages and terms most likely to bring in customers. Next comes on-page and off-page work on technology, content and authority. Finally, positions, traffic and leads are reported each month and the plan is adjusted. Local SEO for Arnhem and nearby towns covers Google Business Profile optimisation, local keywords and landing pages, and reviews and map visibility. He also writes content meant to be cited by ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity and Gemini, and he tracks visibility in those tools.
The SEO subscriptions have published prices, excluding VAT. Package S costs 210 euros a month and targets about 5 to 10 core keywords. Package M costs 420 euros and adds new landing pages for 10 to 20 terms. Package L costs 630 euros and adds technical SEO and regular content for 20 or more competitive keywords. Every plan can be cancelled monthly, although he advises clients to allow a year. One-off SEO or ads help costs 90 euros an hour. He warns against providers who promise first place on Google.
The published testimonials come from local service businesses. Schut Car Systems saw key pages reach the top three and often first place. Airco One in Nijmegen has all its SEO and ads handled with regular strategy reviews. Taxi Wendy reached top-three positions after leaving an unresponsive provider. Flowingweb scores 9.6 on Trustoo and 5.0 on Google. There is no healthcare or dental work in the portfolio, so a Gelderland practice would be getting a generalist local SEO service with low entry prices and direct contact with the owner.
