Dental website and marketing provider with tiered SEO packages and association endorsements
About ProSites
ProSites builds websites and runs online marketing for dental practices from Murrieta in southern California, after earlier years at a Temecula address. It has served dentistry since 2003. It launched in May 2005 at the Discus Dental Extravaganza in Las Vegas, with a content management system for dental websites billed as the first of its kind. In 2016 Lance McCollough was CEO. He is a CPA whose earlier firm, Execusite, was bought by Wolters Kluwer in 2001, and at the time ProSites and its sister company CPA Site Solutions were owned by The Riverside Company. The team has 100 to 249 staff.
Their SEO comes in tiers tied to how crowded a local market is. The Get Started bundle has no SEO. Competitive Edge adds Advanced SEO with three campaign targets, local business listings and up to 15 directory submissions. Market Leader adds Premium SEO with five targets, weekly blog posts and up to 20 directories. Market Owner adds Elite SEO with ten targets, specialty page optimisation, up to 40 directories, pay-per-click ads and custom landing pages. The in-house team agrees target services and keywords with the practice and writes landing pages and blogs around them. It also earns backlinks from industry sites and keeps directory listings current. Clients see results in monthly reports and on a live dashboard that also covers other ProSites products.
The model suits general practices that want one vendor for the website, hosting, email, SEO, social posting and patient communication. Pre-designed sites can go live within minutes, and semi-custom or custom builds are scheduled for practices that want their own look. In 2017 they bought Practice Mojo for appointment reminders and recall. Their ProSites Premier suite added a patient portal, online intake forms, secure email and call tracking.
Proof is mostly aggregate. Clients on its Premium SEO package see an average 81% rise in keywords ranking on Google's first page, and SEO clients average a 300% return. No method is given for either figure. State dental associations including Ohio, Louisiana and Indiana have endorsed the company. Member groups such as the Massachusetts Dental Society offer discounts of up to 70%. The company has appeared on the Inc. 5000 several times, been listed on the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 and won a Dentaltown Townie Choice Award for website design.
Reviews split by topic. They are rated 4.8 on Google from about 560 reviews and 4.9 on G2 from seven. Dentists praise the easy site editor, and some have stayed for 12 to 20 years. Capterra rates them 4.2 from ten reviews, with lower scores for value and service. Complaints there mention account manager turnover, slow replies and SEO or PPC work that felt under-optimised. Current prices are given only after a consultation. A 2017 interview quoted $69.99 a month for a no-contract website, $345 to $795 a month for SEO and $200 a month for PPC management. New clients get a 30-day refund window.

Questions Dentists Ask About ProSites
What SEO packages does ProSites offer?
Their bundles move from Get Started, which has no SEO, through Competitive Edge (Advanced SEO), Market Leader (Premium SEO) and Market Owner (Elite SEO). Higher tiers add more campaign keywords, more directory submissions, weekly blogs and, at the top tier, PPC with custom landing pages.
How much does ProSites cost?
Current prices are not published and are given after a consultation. In 2017 prices were $345 to $795 per month for SEO depending on competition, and $69.99 per month for a no-contract website.
Is there a guarantee?
They offer a full refund if a practice decides within the first 30 days that ProSites is not the right fit.
Can I edit my own website?
Yes. ProSites provides a site editor that is available around the clock, and reviewers on Capterra often mention how easy it is to use.
What do critics say?
Capterra reviews rate value and customer service lower than ease of use. Complaints mention changing account managers, slow replies and SEO or PPC campaigns that were not fully optimised.
Is ProSites endorsed by dental associations?
Yes. Several state associations, including Ohio, Louisiana and Indiana, have endorsed it. The total number of state endorsements is given as anywhere from 12 to 17.
